Ed and Laney are relaxing on a rock at Havasu Campground. Both of them were science teachers at Kennedy Middle School. Laney was real good with the students and is an excellent camper. Laney was what was called the 'bank' on the Trek. That is, she kept the money that students brought with them on the Trek so they wouldn't need to carry it. Then disperse it back to the students when they were allowed to go shopping. Ed gave lectures about the Havasupai tribe to the students at Havasu Campground. Ed also was an accomplished musician and lyricist. He would compose the lyrics for a song based on what he observed, of each adult, during the Trek. Then he would play his guitar and sing the song at the adult meeting on the last night of the Trek. Use your browser's back button to return.
