After sleeping over night in a nice motel in Page Arizona we ate breakfast and boarded a bus that took
us to Glen Canyon Dam where we board the rafts to take us down the Colorado River. The tunnel
is dark and long (about 3/4 mile). It desends steeply down hill to the bottom of Glen
Canyon Dam. Two buses took all of us. Here the second bus emerges from the tunnel.

We are walking down a steel gang plank to where the rafts are waiting. They gave us all hard
hats to wear.

The captain of our raft pointed out each interesting land mark along the way and told us the story
about it.

We stop at a half way point on the river and the students can play in the river. Its
a pleasant day today, normally it's hot here.

They told us of a place near by where you can see petroglyphs, carvings in the rock face made by the ancient
people. This particular carving looks like a self portrait. The others
look like food.

On the way back from rafting Mrs, Lupita Montijo sees some of the students in the bus listening to
music. This group of students prefers to listen to music than watch movies..
One of the students asks Lupita to dance. Lupita said yes. When all the students
were aboard the bus they all sat down to listen to the music and we continued on our way.
