At the Havasu campgound the students get to cook. Supervised by adult chaperones. Here Joe and Monica are showing a student how to perpare dehydrated food for cooking. All the students get a turn at these three jobs: Cook, Water getter, Clean up. Cooking involves reading instructions, measuring, serving, some mathematics and handling hot food. Still many students really like cooking. Joe is a volunteer and Monica is a teacher at Kennedy Middle school. Use your browser's back button to return.
