Shown here are Margaret (center) and Coleen (right, wearing yellow with a red bakpack), at Hilltop ready to hike down to the village of Supai. Hilltop is where the road ends and the trail begins. The others are students. Margaret was a member of the Board of Redwood City School District. Coleen was a physical education teacher at Kennedy Middle School. All students must be prepared to hike about 11.5 miles. They Stop for a break at the village of Supai, then hike 2 more miles to the Havasu campgrounds. Use your browser's back button to return.
