The mail box at the village of Supai is mounted a bit high. Most of the towns people in Supai are about the same height as Lupita. The mail from this box is taken on horseback to Hilltop then by normal vehicles to the US mail. The Supai post office puts a special cancel mark on its mail because it's the last remnant of the Pony Express in the USA. We encourage the students to buy post cards, for their parents, and bring them here to drop in this box so they have a momento of this Trek.
